Renowned educators and thought leaders will come together to share their expertise and experiences on LTE Main Stage, offering participants a valuable chance to learn from the very best in the field, and fostering the exchange of knowledge and ideas on the development of global education.
Technology Leaps of AI and Implications for Education
Amongst other keynote presentations, Professor Mutlu Cukurova, Professor of Learning and AI at University College London, will present ‘Technology Leaps of AI and Implications for Education’ at the Expo. Using examples from his research, he challenges the prevalent narrow conceptualisation of AI as tools exemplified in generative AI chatbots and argues for the importance of alternative conceptualisations of AI in education.
Harnessing Analytics to Build a More Sustainable Future for Higher Education
Mr Leigh Kamolins, Director at Quacquarelli Symonds, will present ‘Harnessing Analytics to Build a More Sustainable Future for Higher Education’ at LTE 2024. He will draw inspiration from the recently released QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, explaining how higher education institution’s sustainability footprint can be measured and how its impact can be benchmarked using data and analytics.
Thematic Seminars Highlight
Educators will share innovative and effective teaching strategies, pedagogies, and quality resources in various areas including K12 Education, AI in Education, 21st Century Classroom, Inclusive Learning, Early Childhood Education, and so on.
Open Lessons and Workshops Highlight
Experienced educators from local and international schools will conduct open lessons and interact with the audience to demonstrate how to integrate EdTech with innovative pedagogies in different subjects to build students’ 21st-century competencies, enhancing engagement and motivation in learning.
