Singapore, August 2024 — The Singapore Leadership Programmes empower educators in Singapore with essential skills for effective school leadership. Designed to cater to both emerging leaders and experienced senior staff, these programmes offer comprehensive training tailored to the unique demands of educational leadership.

Singapore Leadership Programme

The Singapore Leadership Programme is specifically designed for educators who are new to leadership or those aspiring to take on leadership roles in the near future. The programme features three days of intensive face-to-face training, complemented by six internal "gel" sessions conducted within participants’ schools, and includes an insightful visit to another school. This course focuses exclusively on academic staff, with an emphasis on leading learning within educational institutions. The programme is priced at $750 SGD.

Singapore Extending Leadership Programme

For those who have already completed the Singapore Leadership Programme, the Accelerate programme, or are currently holding Senior Leadership positions, the Singapore Extending Leadership Programme offers an advanced level of professional development. This programme consists of three days of in-person training and a series of online Active Learning Sessions conducted after school hours, allowing participants to delve deeper into leadership strategies. Unlike its predecessor, this course is open to both academic and non-academic staff, broadening its appeal across educational institutions. The programme is priced at $995 SGD.

Application and Programme Details

Both programmes will run from October 2024 to May 2025, providing ample time for participants to absorb and apply their learning within their schools. Interested candidates are required to apply through the Professional Learning and Development (PLD) Lead at their respective schools, as certain components of the courses are integrated into the participants' work environments and supported by their school leaders.

The application deadline is September 20, 2024. Registration forms are available through the PLD Leads at all Singapore International Schools.
