For Schools

Q: What benefits do schools get from joining EdEvents?
A:
Member schools can create and manage a detailed profile, post events to the events directory, and list job vacancies on the main jobs directory and their profile. This allows your events to be seen and discovered by educators alongside all worldwide events in the directory. They can also link job advertisements to their preferred recruitment platforms and take advantage of special offers not listed publicly from solutions providers.

Q: If schools can post jobs, how is EdEvents different from a recruitment agency?
A:
As EdEvents is a media hub, schools determine where they want to direct users to apply for advertised positions. Schools can link to their published profiles on recruitment sites or directly to their school website’s employment page. EdEvents seeks to partner with both schools and recruiters to make it easier for international educators to find opportunities in one space, regardless of the application pathway.

Q: Can schools post confidential job posts that do not display the school name?
A:
Yes, this is possible. EdEvents can support this for your school, but you will have to provide the application link. EdEvents does not offer to collect applications.

Q: What are the membership options for schools?
A: Schools can join EdEvents for 12 months with unlimited event and job submissions. Membership fees range from $900 to $3,200 (as of July 2024), depending on the size of the school. Request a quote and let's get your school featured!

Q: Are there any free membership trials available for schools?
A:
While we do not offer free membership trials, we provide comprehensive support to ensure schools get the most out of their membership.

Q: How can schools post professional development events they’re hosting that are open to outside educators?
A:
Member schools can assign a user to have access to the Events Manager module, allowing the submission of events to the main events directory. These events are also showcased on the school’s profile.

Q: How do I update my school profile or event listings?
A:
Schools can log in to their EdEvents account to update their profile and manage event listings. For assistance, please contact our support team.

For Solutions Providers & Event Organisers

Solutions providers can also showcase their listed clients on their profiles, helping build awareness and trust.

Q: Can member solutions providers list a workshop, summit or demo event on EdEvents?
A:
Yes, we encourage member organisations to propose workshops and events. All event submissions require approval from EdEvents before appearing in the main directory.

For Recruitment Organisations

Q: Can recruitment companies become members of EdEvents?
A: Yes! We know that the main work of recruiters is more than just job adverts, which is exactly why we encourage recruiters to become members to showcase their services to schools, as well as post their jobs.

Q: Can recruitment companies post job advertisements on EdEvents?
A: Absolutely! By advertising job vacancies for their client schools on EdEvents, this is both a great way to increase exposure of your services to schools and attract international educators currently working in international schools.

Q: Can recruitment companies post confidential job postings, where the school is not named?
A: Yes. Instead of the school name and logo appearing on the job post, the recruiter’s logo and company profile display instead. As a recruiter, you can toggle this on or off for any job post.
