The edEVENTS Community presents The Importance of Belonging, an interactive online workshop empowering all staff to build inclusive school communities.
“I’ll stay here because I belong here”.
What does this statement mean in your school community? How can your school ensure that all people feel included, safe and heard?
Belonging is essential to creating a sense of connection and community, particularly in school environments. Unfortunately, not all individuals feel included or heard within their school communities. In this workshop, we will explore the importance of belonging and how schools can create inclusive environments that empower all staff.
Participants will explore and gain practical tools and insights for staff to actively participate in building an inclusive school. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a better understanding of the importance of belonging, how to recognise when individuals don’t feel included, and what steps can be taken to create a more welcoming and supportive environment for all.
In addition, participants will have access to the recording and can participate in an edEVENTS online forum reserved exclusively for workshop participants following the event.
